September's word of the month was "Listener."

The teachers and staff observe students, and when they catch them displaying good character -in this case being good listeners- they send the student's name to me and I give them an award and enter their name in a drawing for a grand prize. In September, I was able to give away McDonald's Ice cream cones, pies, and drinks from the Gassville McDonald's, plus a grand prize, a free kids meal at El Chico in Mountain Home. We had many Little Warriors that were great listeners. However the grand prize winner is a 5th grade student from Mrs. Burns class.

October's word of the month is "Brave".
