The word of the month for February was Perseverance.

Perseverance by definition means-steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. The teachers and staff observe students persevering. Then they send the student's name to me and I give them an award and enter their name in a drawing for a grand prize. Students have many things to preserve through in elementary school such as; friends, grades, etc.…

Last month we were able to give away McDonald's Ice cream cones, pies, French fries, and drinks from the Gassville McDonald's, plus a grand prize, a free kid's meal at Sonic in Gassville. The grand prize winner and Little Warrior of the Month of February is a 4th grade student from Mrs. Moore's class.

March's word of the month is Focused. Testing is right around the corner!
